A 4-legged angular steel light tower uses hot-dip galvanized angle sections or tubular steel, materials chosen for their durability in long-term outdoor conditions. The structure handles wind and seismic forces well, even in exposed sites. Its electrical system supports the floodlights and keeps the power flow steady, so the tower can maintain clear lighting over large work zones. The lighting platform at the top accommodates adjustable fixtures to suit different coverage needs.

The angular steel light tower is formed by four vertical angle-steel columns connected with diagonal braces and horizontal members to create a space-frame lattice. Common cross-sections range from 0.6 m × 0.6 m to 1.0 m × 1.0 m, with overall height from 15 to 40 meters. - Connection Method
A full-bolted design supports convenient transport and on-site assembly. Tower legs use insert-type connections with reinforcing gusset plates. The structure is engineered to withstand wind levels up to Beaufort scale 12 (approx. 37.9 m/s). - Surface Protection
The galvanizing layer is ≥85 μm, with coastal applications requiring ≥90 μm. Key weld areas are coated with epoxy anti-corrosion paint. The light tower offers a service life of 20 to 30 years. - Extreme-Environment Performance
Designed for seismic intensity level 8, the foundations of the steel lattice tower use C35 concrete with embedded M24 anchor bolts. The light tower meets a minimum anti-overturning moment of ≥80 kN•m³.
- Fixed Type
Designed with an internal ladder and a top maintenance platform, suitable for long-term lighting in factory areas, port terminals, and logistical yards. - Lifting Type
Equipped with manual or electric lifting systems. The lighting frame can be raised to 15–25 meters for easier maintenance. In railway settings, the lighting frame can be aligned vertically with the tracks. - Rotary-arm Type
Supports 0–90° rotation to achieve directional lighting in areas with unique angle requirements.
- Industrial Facilities
Used in power plants, logistics parks, and railway freight yards. A 21.5-meter lattice-frame floodlight tower can illuminate coal yards, port storage areas, and other wide-area sites. - Special Installations
In substation protection zones, the tower can function as a lightning mast. A 25-meter GFL2-5 model, for example, uses its four-leg structure to provide a protection radius of up to 60 meters.

The light tower supports high-output lighting fixtures and delivers strong brightness over long distances. The lighting angle can be adjusted to match different site conditions, allowing focused and accurate illumination.
Height options are flexible. Some configurations use sectional assembly, such as 18–45-meter designs, and all steel components are protected with hot-dip galvanization for corrosion resistance.
A dedicated heat-dissipation setup, often with aluminum housings, works together with an IP66 waterproof design to keep the lighting system stable during long-term outdoor use.
The structure of the angular steel tower follows seismic-resistant design principles. A maintenance platform and safety railing are positioned at the top, giving technicians easier access when servicing the lighting fixtures.
Laser Cutting
Laser cutting is used to shape the steel components through focused beam cutting and assisted gas removal. The process offers fast cutting speed and high dimensional accuracy (up to ±0.05 mm), while keeping heat impact to a minimum. This reduces the risk of deformation and results in clean, well-defined edges.
CNC Punching and Shearing
Steel angles are processed through CNC-controlled punching and shearing lines. Automatic feeding, positioning, punching, and cutting are all integrated into the process, keeping production running smoothly and efficiently. Precise CNC positioning keeps quality consistent, even when working with more complex parts.
Hot-Dip Galvanizing and Surface Protection
The tower is protected with hot-dip galvanizing as the main anti-corrosion treatment, along with an extra plastic coating for added protection. The zinc layer protects the steel from rust and adds strength, while the coating gives extra insulation and surface protection. This combined treatment allows the tower to maintain reliable performance for over 20 years and adapt well to harsh environments such as high and low temperatures, coastal areas, and mountainous regions.
