Camouflaged communication towers, also known as concealed tree towers, are designed to look like real trees while supporting telecom equipment. They are widely used in parks, scenic areas, and other places where the visual impact of a regular telecom tower would be a problem. Inside, the structure is made of hot-dip galvanized steel, while the outside is covered with waterproof, fire-resistant, and corrosion-resistant composite materials that imitate real tree bark. The branches and outer surface are made with resin materials and finished with acrylic paint, which helps keep the color stable over time and prevents cracking or peeling. When needed, the surface can also be repainted to maintain its appearance. With this protection, the tower can have a service life of more than 20 years. All feeder cables (coaxial cables) run inside the tower body, so they stay protected from rain, wind, and constant exposure to the weather over time.
